SENTRY TECHNOLOGY RELEASES NEW SECURITY MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE AT IFSEC

RONKONKOMA, New York, May 23, 2005, -- Sentry Technology Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: SKVY) announced today the successful launch of the Sentry VisionÒ integrated security management software at the International Fire and Security Exhibition Conference in Birmingham, UK in cooperation with Intrepid Security, Sentry's UK dealer. SentryVisionÒ software runs on the Company's SentryVisionÒ Video Server platform and offers users unprecedented control, integration and management of security systems, remotely via the internet. Features include:

· View and control of both the Company's SmartTrack traveling camera system and conventional CCTV equipment

· Two way voice communication

· Integration with access control and burglar alarm systems

· Remote operation of lighting, etc.

· Digital Video Recording
