Strips for BooksTail-Tag is a double-sided adhesive strips with tails. The tag is used for paperback books, journals, magazines and some hardcover books. Tyvek™ backing helps to conceal the security strip. Longer tails provide easier, better handling and tails don't stretch.
Spine-Tag is a single-sided adhesive strip. The tag is usually inserted down the spine of a hardcover book with the aid of an insertion tool. Sentry security strips come in easy to handle sheets of 10 strips each. This means no fiddling with individual strips when securing your collection.
Single-sided strips are available in a variety of finishes including clear, white, black and faux barcode for use on non-standard items such as spiral bound books and other items that do not have a spine or a gutter for regular tag placement.
CDs and DVDs
Sentry manufacturers a CD/DVD, EM Security Label, composed of a one-part circular Mylar label that is applied directly to the CD or DVD. For maximum label detection, two MM security strips are adhered at right angles to the underside of the self-adhesive, Mylar. This allows for better detection than the typical parallel strip placement. The label can be applied to any CD or DVD with single sided data recording.
Videos & Audio Cassettes
Sentry manufactures EM strips for Videos and Audiocassettes, as well as a wide variety of security strips to protect VHS and cassette tapes. Finishes include solid black that can be applied to the outside of the case or inside the video flap. A pre-printed "Please Rewind the Tape" message can be printed to disguise the security strip. Strips are applied in a single-step operation and fit above "Title Label" without obscuring the title.
EM Non-Circulating Strips
Sentry also manufacturers a wide selection of security strips that do not desensitize. These strips are used to secure reference materials that are not to leave the library.
