RFID self-check QuickCheck™ systems provide patron check-out and renewals of materials via RFID tags and barcodes. RFID self-check systems can safely check-out printed materials and AV media in one easy step. When the RFID tag or barcode is read an EAS/AFI security function is performed and a receipt is printed informing the patron when to return materials to the library. QuickCheck™ RFID self-checks are available in Kiosk, Desktop and Built-in configurations.
Sentry Technology also offers EM/RFID systems for added security. Libraries using Electromagnetic (EM) security can implement an incremental RFID solution. RFID/EM hybrid systems allow libraries to continue to utilize EM security while migrating from barcode identification toward the use of RFID.
