Traveling CCTV  Overview

The SentryVision® SmartTrack system uses Sentry's patented technology to transmit video images from one or two pan, tilt and zoom cameras traveling on a carriage, along an aluminum rail mounted on the ceiling or wall of any facility.  The camera provides unobstructed views of people and events that are not possible with conventional camera systems.  SmartTrack can be operated using a conventional CCTV joy stick console, a wireless PDA, and over the world wide web.

 

SmartTrack is widely used in big box retail stores, public transportation, distribution centers, cross dock facilities and courier sorting centers.
